CHINA
Our firm's involvement with China is long-standing.

Our lawyers have been making regular visits to the People's Republic of China for many years. We maintain close relations with Chinese government agencies in order to represent clients’ interests and obtain up-to-date information.

 

1989- the Firm began an association with Guangzhou International Commercial Law Office, which has strong links to the CCPIT.
1993- the Firm signed an association agreement with Zhongzhi Law Office, Beijing, a leading law firm in Environmental Protection Law and Intellectual Properties.
1994- the Firm signed a co-operation agreement with Shanghai Foreign Service Company.
1995- the Firm entered into an association agreement with Jindi Law Office in Shenzhen.
1996- the Firm began an association with Xin Peng Law Firm in Changchun.
1998- the firm signed a co-operation agreement with Shanghai East Best International Assets & Equity Consulting Co. Ltd.

1996 - Changchun
The Firm began an association with Changchun Xin Peng Law Firm.





1998 - Shanghai
Ms. June Liau, Mr.Louis Pong and Mr.Hugo Chan, partners of Messrs. Liau, Ho & Chan attended the Opening Ceremony of a co-operation arrangement between the Firm and Shanghai East Best International Assets & Equity Consulting Company Limited


NEW TERRITORIES

Realising that major future developments of Hong Kong will be focused on the North Western part of Hong Kong along the New Airport Rail Link, our firm has been actively and substantially involved in major land development projects in the New Territories including the development of Ma Wan Island and the Theme Park thereon.

Through our excellent connections with government bodies and civic organisations in the New Territories, we have extensive experience in dealing with matters peculiar to the law and practice in the New Territories.
